You have to hand it to the Mayo Clinic's P.R. (Dept. of External Affairs) and advertising departments, they really are good. To counter the steadily increasing negative drumbeats about the Mayo Clinic they come up with a hack to write this:

Read between the lines - it's hilarious. Where else but in something about the Mayo Clinic would you read that when he goes to the Mayo Clinic a marketing guy* is turned into a "visiting scientist." What an insult to real scientists.
